1. Electricians & Installers - Solar Power

EnviroGroup is looking for electricians and installers for their solar power installations and other sustainability projects.

EnviroGroup specialises in the installation of domestic and commercial solar power systems, while its subsidiary EnviroShop is a retailer of a large range of energy-efficient lighting and sustainability products.

As a qualified Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out the installation, wiring, repairs and after sales service required for both residential and medium to large commercial/industrial solar power systems, including electrical wiring, mounting of the inverters and testing of the system to ensure that all solar panels operate within specifications. This role may also involve work on other sustainability projects including energy efficient lighting.

To be successful you will have:
- Electrical qualifications and experience 
- Experience with either solar power systems or similar e.g. air conditioners
- CEC Accreditation preferred otherwise training to be provided
- A current drivers licence
- Willingness to travel to country areas / overnight stays (allowance paid)
- Ability to work safely at heights (height safety certification preferable (e.g. MNMG237A or training to be provided).

 A salary package will be negotiated to attract the right people. Salary or hourly rate + van + allowances.

2. Sales Consultants - Solar Energy

Join one of Australia’s leading sustainability retailers in providing solar solutions to our residential & commercial clients. You will be providing advice, quotes and support for solar electric (photovoltaic) and/or solar water heating system. We will provide you with the leads, training and support to maximize your effectiveness in this great job.

You will be promoting leading technology to interested and engaged clients and enjoy the benefits of ongoing training, marketing & sales support.

Duties include:

  • Stimulating customer interest in our products and services by a range of marketing mechanisms including events, emails and direct contact.
  • Providing information, assisting with queries, conducting site visits and providing quotes to interested customers
  • Completing sales, taking deposits, ordering products and organising delivery to customers
  • Following up with suppliers and customers to ensure projects are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Other duties as required - flexibility is vital

Selection Criteria:

  • Previous sales experience (ideally within hot water or the renewables sector)
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organisational skills and a systematic approach to work
  • Knowledge of sustainability products or an aptitude to learn
  • A belief in sustainable solutions
  • Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
  • A current driver’s license and a willingness to do site visits to homes & businesses
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work without supervision

3. Manager Solar Sales

We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive our solar sales division, in residential, commercial and industrial installations. You will ensure that project activities of the business are conducted in an efficient and profitable manner and facilitate the expansion of the business in the projects area.You will have an outstanding record of exceeding sales targets, strong presentation / relationship building skills, marketing and promotional background and understanding of distribution channels. Obviously you will possess a driven and motivated passion to succeed coupled with initiative and an excellent B2B sales background.

Responsibilities Include:

- Managing and motivating a team of Sales Consultants, monitoring KPIs and driving sales performance

- Managing and overseeing the Company’s CRM/customer database and providing regular sales and performance reports to management

- Working with marketing staff to develop and implement marketing and promotional initiatives

- Project management including dealing with suppliers and tradespersons and communicating with clients

- Customer relations which includes promotional activities, providing quotes, sales activities and interacting with customers at all stages of the sales and installation process.    

- Technical advice on a large range of sustainable products, which includes providing product advise, basic design work and quoting on systems.

Accountabilities Include:

1. Stimulating customer interest in our products and services by a range of mechanisms including events, newsletters, emails and direct contact.

2. Providing information, assisting with queries and conducting site visits

3. Completing sales, taking deposits, ordering products and organizing delivery to the customer.

4. Managing projects including dealing with customers, suppliers, contractors and other parties.

5. Following up with suppliers and customers to ensure projects are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

6. Management of rebate application and other approvals.

7. Management of the Projects Departments budget.

8. Other duties as required.

Other Selection Criteria:

• Previous sales experience is essential. Sales experience within the renewables sector would be viewed favorably;

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;

• High level of organisational skills and a systematic approach to work;

• Knowledge of sustainability products or an aptitude to learn quickly;

• A belief in sustainable solutions;

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and to manage and motivate others

• Relevant tertiary qualifications would also be viewed favorably;

4. Retail Sales Manager

EnviroGroup (The Environment Shop) is a well established provider of a range of sustainable solutions such as; renewable energy as well as water and energy conservation. By working in the shop you will be given the opportunity to join in EnviroGroup’s mission and help the community live in a more environmentally sustainable way. You will get to work in a friendly team environment as well as receive extensive training to develop your skills and product knowledge. This will be a casual position which will require you to work around 2-3 days during the week.  
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: dealing with a range of customers and providing information on the products we supply.
  • Sales: promote the products we provide for the customer’s and environments benefit.
  • Reception: answering enquiries and transferring calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Visual Merchandising: designing, arranging and maintaining the stores appearance.
  •  Processing Payments: working on MYOB to process sales, orders and payments.

  • Sustainability Industry: a genuine interest in the sustainability sector as well as a desire to learn about the range of products and services that EnviroGroup supply.

6. Home Sustainability Assessor / Sustainability Sales

EnviroGroup (The Environment Shop) is a highly respected supplier of sustainability products and services including eco assessments, solar systems, water and energy savings, etc.

We have recently won a large tender with Brimbank, Melton, and Moonee Valley Shires to supply thousands of free Home Assessments and other sustainability products and services.

You are an accredited Home Sustainability Assessors wanting to do Green Loans assessments and assist in the sales and supply of sustainability products and services. You will assist customers actually implementing sustainability measures.

You must already have a reasonable understanding of solar PV, solar hot water, rainwater and greywater systems, energy efficiency etc.

Training Provided
All successful applicants will receive appropriate training for the short list of sustainable products we will be offering to interested shire residents. 

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Current HSA accreditation
  • A passion for sustainability. Experience in the field is a bonus
  • Must have basic understanding of solar PV, solar hot water, rainwater and greywater systems, energy efficiency etc. (further training will be provided)
  • Good communications skills and a pleasant and friendly professional demeanor
  • Organisational skills and time management skills
  • Ideally live within the said council areas.
